The Frugalista Files on CNN

February 25, 2008 by frugalista divider image

Cnn_2 I am going to talk about my no-buy challenge today with Gerri Willis on CNN. Please tune in. I’m due on at 12:20 p.m.

This entire month, I’ve gone without getting my nail/hair done, dining out or clothes shopping. It’s been a tough month, but a much needed one. I am still crunching the numbers, but I think I’ve saved about $400.

Stay tuned to me at CNN today and to my wallet.

  • Saw your CNN segment and am interested in reducing my incidental spending. Are you using any kind of software or did you create any kind of database to keep track of what you spent and what you saved? Any recommendations of what might be best to use and where to download it? Thanks!
