Ok, now I’ve know I’ve complained about gas prices rising, but I’m not this desperate. Really I’m not. Ew.

We found out about this problem after Hurricane Ivan when power was out for 2 weeks. We needed more gas for the generators in our neighborhood. The guys tried siphoning fuel from full tanks in our vehicles. They found that almost impossible because late-model vehicles are equipped with an fuel anti-theft device. It prevents siphoning. That was a result of the last fuel shortage when folks stole gas from the vehicle sitting in the driveway. We’re prepared for the next hurricane with enough gas cans for 2 weeks of power. : )
Ohh, you are a role model. I need to up my hurricane supplies. You just reminded me. I remember burning through quite a bit of cash during Hurricane Wilma.
