The Frugalista interview at The Non-Consumer Advocate

Greetings! One of the best things about blogging is all of the fun people you get to meet. I did an interview with Katy Wolk-Stanley, aka, The Non-Consumer Advocate. I always love it when I get to talk to people whose blogs I follow. Stanley’s motto is "use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without." She doesn’t buy new things and has a penchant for finding fabulous things. Please check out her blog and the interview. I wonder if she is considering making her way to a newsroom…
Do you think you could go a year without buying something new?

I did a month without buying a new product and I felt like I needed rehab so going a year may be too much. Especially if this includes shopping of all sorts like clothing, shoes and non essential products.

No.

Sweetie, surely you aren’t advocating buying used make up, right? (joke)
I need to look more at used clothes, but I try to buy clothing that’s well made so that it’ll last. And I hang or lay flat everything but towels and sheets.

Good idea GLM – Then I can save laundry quarters too.

Thanks for the nice words. I had a great time chatting with you, and look forward to lots more.
Us frugal and fabulous girls have to stick together.
