I hope you are having a great day! I’m doing the homebody thing and helping Mama Frugalista cook! She finally trusts me in kitchen! Yay! Thanks so much for reading my blog. I wanted to leave you with this old-school Stevie Wonder song. Afrobella posted this song on Twitter and I fell in love again with the lyrics.Let me know what you’re doing today and let me know your favorite holiday song!

Congrats on the kitchen pass! Favorite Christmas music: Pearl Bailey’s “Five Pound Box of Money,” followed by Miss Kitt’s “Santa Baby.” I am so sad she died at Christmas. Those two songs were at the top of my iPod holiday list. We did the gift opening frenzy at the relatives. The oldest niece’s Caddy station wagon was packed to the top with gifts. Ditto the younger niece. The nephews loved our jars of “moonshine” cherries. Although I suspect they will leave the cherries for their wives. Our gifts were small and already paid for. No bills in January. Bless you Fruga.
