Day of Service

by frugalista on January 19, 2009

Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! One thing that you can do for free today is perform community service. The Frugalista is going to clean up Marvin Gaye Park in Washington, D.C. Frugalista loves the trees!

Also, if you pledge five hours of community service, Starbucks will give you a free tall brewed coffee  that can be redeemed from Wednesday to Sunday. For more information, call your local Starbucks.

Happy MLK Day! Change is going to happen tomorrow and it could not come at a better time. It’s great that it will happen in a clean park. Thank you for doing your part. Myself, I’ll be glued to the tv all day watching the Obama Biden Inauguration.
