 Affordable Valentines Day ideas
Yay! One of my favorite bloggers, Afrobella asked me to give her readers some tips for an affordable Valentine's Day. Please check out the link. She was featured in the Miami Herald today, discussing her V-Day plans with her husband. They are picking their OWN strawberries and will cover them with chocolate later. Steamy!

On my Valentine's Day I will hang with CNN anchors T.J. Holmes and Betty Nguyen!  I'm on about 9: 15 a.m. so please check me out! I need to find something red to wear (from my closet)!

What are your V-Day plans?

One love!
Fruga

Try a night in, with the movie (1993) Heart and Souls with (bad boy valentine) Robert Downey Jr, (sweetheart) Kyra Segwich and (cutie-pie)Alfre Woodard and (very lovable grouch) Charles Grodin and (my fave) Randy Quaid It is about true love, love of family and love of lost flames. You will like it, alot. It is clean , funny and really showcases these actors, singing and dancing It is part of my DVD collection. Other collections, Sleepy Hollow (Holloween) which is a family tradition in my house. Keep it cheap. Let’s get a hold of those Valentine’s Days expenses
CNN’s Donna Brazille looks like a frugalista to me.

I’m volunteering at a food pantry most of the day, then I’ll probably go to the gym. I’m hoping to be dead tired and fall asleep after that.
Otherwise I’m watching SNL while drinking cheap merlot straight from the bottle.

Dinner at home. Champagne chicken and apple tart. The chicken is on sale and the champagne was a clearance item after New Year’s. The tart is homemade in a heart shaped pan. That’s my gift — all his favorite foods. It’s raining so we will stay home. Have a happy Valentine’s Fruga.

I forgot to add that my Valentine is my cat, Jack. Always faithful. Never has asked me for a dime.
