Have to be a Grey Goose w/ cranberry juice
My Favorite drink Poinsettia -
1/2 oz Cointreau or triple sec
Champagne
3 oz cranberry juice
cherries for garnish
Nothing like the classic Bombay Sapphire, or Tanqueray Ten, with tonic water.
Or a fine single-malt Scotch also does the trick.
Goose!!! its always loose!!!! which is why im sluggish at 12 in the afternoon on tuesday….
I’m such a ‘Rum-Gal’ that I love almost every combo from various lines. For the best results I feel the coke has to be strong. So the budget store brand Coke may be a stretch, but worth a try.
1. Cap ‘N Coke (Captain Morgan)
2. Malibu ‘N Coke
3. Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum (I love the spice in the rum. It’s actually my #1, but it’s too pricey)
When I’m really broke, but need a drink I’ve found amazingly the budget friendly Cruzan DARK Rums pack a little punch.
Jose Cuervo Golden Margarita cuts back on buying all the stuff for the mixed drink. PLUS, Jose is OK if you can’t swing the tab for Patrón.
BTW.. have you seen the BOGO entre’ specials at T.G.I. Friday’s

Not a bad way to cut cost if a date wants to take you out. That way you don’t break the “No Buy Month” rules… AND… you influence others to save.
Okay, I’m going to be the wet blanket here, because I really just like water.
It’s free and it falls from the sky. Can’t get much better than that!

P.S. I guess I do drink a lot of tea as well.
Converting: Thanks for the recipe!
Boring: Sounds effective
Benhameen: Yes, I’ve heard that about the goose. Be careful!
Nicki: Thanks for the great info!
Katy: To the corner you go! LOL! Time out for you! Seriously, it makes perfect sense!
Low carb margaritas. Yep and I can not tell the difference. 9 calories per serving.
Not only do I have to not spend, (I mean reduce my fixed monthly expenditures) I have to balance it against caloric intake.
I have 3 favorite drinks:
Bitters and soda – soda water with a dash or two of bitters and a slice of lemon. It’s my way of avoiding diet drinks.
Kir Royal – champagne with creme de cassis. My favorite coctail.
Double bourbon, neat – when I just want the alcohol!
