What’s up Natalie, enjoy reading your FRUGALISTA columns, helps my family and I cope with the ongoing recession and being as frugal as possible, especially with a teacher income.
Favorite Disney character all time has to be Peter Pan. In these tough times, its nice to be able to dream of faraway lands and adventures such as Peter Pan does. Wish we can all fly away with his Peter’s famous saying, “Here we Go!!!!” and escape the continous recession, bad economic news and being frugal. By the way, I might have to wear the outfit as my 3 year old daughter insists that I need to address as Peter Pan for the next Halloween. My two year old daughter was Tinker Bell last Halloween. We are definitely a Peter Pan family. All we need now is some real pixie dust to fly to that faraway land for adventures and fun, or even better, to fly into American Airlines Arena and see a great show on April 1. Have a great weekend!!!

MIAMI DADE SHOW TICKETS.. MY FAVORITE DISNEY CHARACTER IS LIGHTNING MCQUEEN BECAUSE MY 4YR OLD SON ADORES HIM AND I KNOW EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT RADIATOR SPRINGS… MY SON IS LIKE LIGHTNING MCQUEEN IN THE BEGINNING.. ALWAYS GOING FAST NOT SLOWING DOWN FOR ANYTHING, AND TO HEAR MY SON SAY “kACHOO” EVERYDAY LIGHTS UP MY DAY.. I FEEL ME AND HIM ARE LIKE MATER AND LIGHTNING… BUT I’M TRYING TO GET HIM TO SLOW DOWN AND MAYBE USE HIS REARVIEW MIRRORS :)

My favorite Disney character would have to be Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She portrays so beautifully that beauty should not be seen on the outside of a person but what’s on the inside. The movie is so inspiring that it always brings a tear to my eye. It’s also my daughter’s favorite..I wonder why..

Hello there,
My favorite Disney character is Mickey Mouse. He is a calm and cool character. The party doesn’t start until Mickey arrives. Also I have a tattoo of Mickey Mouse on my arm. The funny thing about it is that I am 6’4 280 male with this Mickey on my arm.

My twin daughters love Winnie The Pooh. Their bedroom theme is Winnie The Pooh and has been since birth. The three of them have so much in common. Pooh is humble/cuddley and he can see the good side of a bad situation. Pooh is a great friend and he’s always there for his friends. Even me as an adult, I love Pooh. I have everything Pooh. If we’re selected for these tickets Miami or Broward is fine. For Pooh no place is too far.

Miami or Broward tickets would be ok. Darkwing Duck is my favorite Disney character. Yes, he isn’t as popular or charasmatic as Mickey or Donald Duck, but he is smart and fights crime. In fact, I credit him for helping me out learning my vowls. To this day, I play that episode to teach my children their a-b-c’s and vowels. Best part about it, Darkwing Duck has an exciting tale. Just think about it, you have rich relatives and your side kick is a duck with a robotic costume. You just can’t get any better than that. Also, you can’t forget his plunger as a weapon, simply genious. Heck, after watching Disney afternoon’s Darkwing Duck, any little kid can be a great super hero and role model for others. :)

Hey Natalie,
Great blog in keeping people to spending limits. My favorite character would be Handy Manny (even though he is new, he is cool because he teaches kids in a bilingual stage) which is why Disney is so great. That is the one cartoon I watch with my one-year old daughter every Saturday and Sunday morning.
If I were lucky enough to win the tickets, I would be gracious if it was at the AAA since I live in West Kendall.
Thanks for the opportunity

Hi Natalie,
I myself am a Goofy man. Goofy is an awkwardly funny, curious, and good-spirited type of guy. We generally see Goofy ever-valiantly attempting things that we ourselves might fear, “goofing” them up in a way that we’re a little afraid we might, and yet shining through it all with qualities to which we most aspire. Goofy is cheerful, eternally loyal, and always willing to help his friends. He has a gentle, childlike innocence and wonder about the world around him.
Now my 3 yr old son has a whole slew of characters he likes, but I would say Mickey Mouse wins out in the end with him. He’s always asking when we are going back to Mickey’s house and who can blame him.
AAA / Miami show is our preference.

Hey Natalie,
I would have to say the greatest Character is Tiger because my 3 kids generate the biggest smile when he on TV every morning. I just love the way they form a line and ‘bounce’ around the house. He is full of so much life and energy….do we all wish we could have his energy!
Miami would be fine.

My entire life Pluto has always been my favorite character. He’s always happy and I absolutely love the fact that he chases Chip and Dale all the time. A few years ago my sons went to take a picture with him and he was probably the best Pluto we could have gotten.. He carried them and laid on the floor with them and played Peek a Boo.. He is also their favorite… They light up whenever they see him.. We would love the Miami tickets but would always drive to Broward if you had those..

Tinker Bell is my favorite. Right now what we all need is pixie dust so we can return never never land where the economy is strong and we never get old. My daughters room has a tree painted on one of her walls with Tinker Bells and butterflies. The Bank Atlantic Center will work for me

Hi Natalie,
I am very interested in the Broward tickets. My favorite Disney character is Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She not like any other “princess”. She is one of a kind in the way that she didn’t have to change who she was for anyone, and also she didn’t set out to look for a prince. Which in this day and age is a great role model for little girls everywhere. Also the way she took care of her father is a great example of how to treat your parents when they need you.
Thanks

My favorite Disney characters are Tinkerbell and Boo from Monsters, Inc. because they so much look like my two beautiful daughters/princesses. They constantly enjoy watching them in movies and shows. The show in Broward would be great!

My favorite character will be Mickey. My 4 years old jump on the couch anytime Mickey appears on the TV set. My 15 month old girl always says “Mimi” instead of Minie when the shows starts at 7:30.
I’ll go anywhere Miami or Broward does not matter, free tickets! will be priceless for our family!

I can admit it — I had a grudge against the Disney princesses because I didn’t like the idea of a woman waiting for her knight in shining armor to rescue her. Of course Fate decided to have a big laugh and bless me with a daughter who decides to be in a big-time princess phase and absolutely loves Cinderella, Belle, and Jasmine.
My horror turned into delight when I discovered that the adoration for these characters is not just because they have pretty faces and fabulous dresses. Natalie sees that these young women make an effort to be kind and thoughtful towards those who are small, helpless and/or different. She loves their adventures, their journeys from being what everyone else around them wants them to be, to fulfilling their dreams.
My daughter doesn’t see these characters as waiting to be rescued, but as young women taking charge of their destiny. I know this sounds corny, and I never thought I’d say this, but I love the Disney princesses for teaching this lesson, and I thank them.
If possible, we would love to see them in action at AAA in Miami :)

No tickets for me, but Eeyore is my favorite character. And I met him when I worked at Disney. He’s my favorite because no matter how negative he is everything turns out alright. And although “Oh bother” is his trademark phrase, he always gives in the joins the adventure. He’s a reminder to enjoy the day and your friends, and it will be OK in the end.

Minnie Mouse is my favorite character because she not only loves Mickey, but is independent as well. She does not hog the limelight but shines out anyway. Prefer Bank Atlantic Center.

My 2 year old daughter loves Donald Duck. She loves to sing the Mickey Mouse song, but her favorite part is to yell out “Donald Duck!” during the song. She even sang it for Donald at Disney World

Dear Natalie,
I am writing this letter on behalf of my granddaughters. Cheyanne just turned five years old and her sister Sierra just turned four years old both have birthdays in January.
Both girls have been enjoying the Disney characters for three years. Their favorite is Mickey and Minnie. Cheyanne will ask me will Mickey ice skate. Sierra will chime in will Minnie ice skate. From the time we enter the arena to the time we leave they are spell bound on this great and wonder show.
The spotlight on the activities before the ice show is outstanding:for an example the ecofriendly planting of a real plant before the show for them to carry home inspired them this year to ask their parents to start a garden. We also had our picture taken with Mickey and Friends at the photo stand.
Thank you Natalie for allowing me to share my granddaughters experiences with you.
Again, Thank You.
Rosemary Fuller

Natalie – My son wants to grow up to be the Walt Disney of his time. He dreams of designing his own themepark and on more than one occasion my husband and I have found him fielding advice from his favorite character — you guessed it, the Mouse himself. Albeit he loves all Disney characters, and has elaborate plans rides and attractions based on many of the newer Disney characters, Like Walt, he believes in the end the magic all starts with the Mouse.
Needless to say, our son would love the opportunity to see Disney on Ice. Our preference would be for the American Airlines Arena.
Thanks!

My favorite Disney characters are Tweedledee and Tweedledum and this is because they always have a lot of fun! Both these characters are lively and exciting. They are crucial disney characters that bring lots of fun and exciting stories at time when our economy is rough, to cheer people up.We all need time of cheering and laughter and i love disney!.
