Recession deals

 Recession deals
One of the few good things about the bad economy are the deals from corporate America.

Here we go:

Free resume printing at FedEx Office (formerly FedEx Kinko's) on Tuesday. Job seekers can print up to 25 resumes for free. This hook up is timely. Recent numbers released show that the United States' unemployment roll is growing.

If you buy a ticket from Jet Blue and lose your job, the airline will refund your fare under its "Promise Program."

Hyundai will buy back your car if you lose your job and can't make payments.

What do you think of companies creating these type of deals as a result of the recession? Is it smart? Are they pandering? Do these recession specials make you feel better or worse about the economy?

You know, that’s a good point. Are they pandering? I think we’ll start to see actual pandering soon, but I’d like to hold out hope that some of these offers are genuine.
However, I think it’ll be pretty hard to get Hyundai to buy back your car. At the very least, they’ll buy it back at a depreciated cost. I wouldn’t be suprised if you would have to give them some money to take it back.
