Hi, Frugalistas! I hope you had a great weekend. I was well behaved, and I'll just leave it at that.;) So, I've wanted to post about this One Dollar Diet Project for a while.
Two teachers decided to go a month eating on a dollar a day. Oh my. For me, cooking at home is frugal. Cutting my food bill to one buck per day is daunting.
Most of the food that the teachers ate was processed also known as junk food. Fruits and vegetables were out of their price range.
Could you do it? How much do you spend per meal? Is it sad that affordable food is bad for your health?
