I was looking to cut my spending earlier this year. I actually shopped at Floral & Hearty and was in shock when I kept reaching out to touch and see if something was real or fake. Michaels and those other places don't even compare - that stuff does look fake. But places like Floral & Hearty are different. Now I like having a combo of both in my house, real on my kitchen table but silks in my entry way, dining room, bathroom, etc. I've definitely saved money over time. Good tip! Buying fresh flowers is a nice occassional cheap treat for me and my apartment. Plus I like the variety.
