These days, veterinary and pharmacy schools are now dominated by female students which was unheard of half-century ago. Overseas, I saw a friend's nephew graduating medical school class picture; it was practically mostly women grads! I also recall jokes about women becoming doctors as late as the 1980s!!! It will even be more common in the future as former male-dominated job positions are now majority women. Wasn't it 50+? I see he's upped the salary requirement at a rate that outpaces inflation. While I'm able to earn a pretty decent salary in private industry, the benefits can be so-so. I dated a woman who earned more than me, but I always had more money because she spent more than she earned.
