Look closer!

It’s folded up clothes turned into artwork. Who knew that second-hand clothing could be so visual? I first learned about this artwork from the Shop It To Me blog.

If you want to check out more of the artist’s, Derick Melander’s work, check out the video below! It really makes you think about how one person’s trash can be another person’s treasure! I sure do hope you donate/recycle your used clothing. Frugalista LAW! What do you think about Derick’s work? Do you like it? What do you do with your old clothes?

  • This is neat looking, but the crazy person I am makes me wonder how you will keep this stuff from holding smells. Like, if you cook something with onions or garlic, how do you keep the fabric from hold the scent?

  • That art looks like laundry day. Just recycled some clothing. Gave a suit to someone that they admired. Only thing was approaching the person. Didn’t want to insult her and make our relationship uncomfortable. It turned out fine. She has a suit she likes and I don’t feel as if I wasted money.

  • Yep! Suits are really expensive. I would be more than happy to take a suit off a friend. Good deed, Lou. I guess no one likes the folded laundry as art. I thought it was nifty. LOL
Maybe it’s a sign that I need to do a load of my own laundry?
