@Lou: Right. I think the celebs can easily learn to like the merchandise for the pay. We all have a price.
@PJD: Rihanna is like a muse. I, too, love Beyonce’s shoes and accessories. It’s nice to see her back away from the leotards. More fashion B! And I wouldn’t have to be paid to go to the show. I just want a seat!

Clearly I am in the wrong business! I like Rihanna’s fee because like them or hate them she is known for wearing some interesting outfits. Beyonce, not so much, her outfits are not as interesting, but her shoes are usually lovely. Kim is a part of the clothing industry with her dash stores so I guess they can short change her because they know as a buyer for her boutique she would likely try to attend anyway.
All I know is I would sit in many of those shows for far less so they should look into paying me!

I’m disgusted. But employment is a matter of selling one’s time & talent in return for money and benefits. Guess it should always be made clear whether the celeb is there because they like the merchandise or whether they are working.
