This year middle-class families are getting bigger tax returns. The average tax refund has reached $3,036 this year, up $266.

Hmm, my tax return was nowhere near that. Then again, I don’t have any dependents. Anyone want to let me borrow a kiddie?

Here’s a calculator to help you get the most out of your taxes.

Have you done your taxes? If not, what are you waiting on? If so, did you get a return? I hope you’re not withholding too much out of your check. No bueno. The government doesn’t need a no-interest loan from you.

I think it increased b/c of that housing credit. ($8,000) A lot of people took advantage of that. Even people that didn’t plan to buy a house
