How to save at the spa

Hello, my pretties! I have a guest blog today about how to get spa sexy on the frugal. Please be kind to our guests!
Well + Good is the ultimate on-line wellness resource for health-conscious New Yorkers. Created Melisse Gelula and Alexia Brue, who visited hundreds of spas for Luxury SpaFinder Magazine, Well + Good aims to translate the spa experience into a lifestyle we can all afford and enjoy.
How to save on spa treatments
Never pay retail! There are so many ways to get amazing spa deals. Spa Week and SpaFinder’s Deal Days (both happen twice a year) are like Restaurant Week for spas. A 60-minute treatment at many top spas costs just $50. Also, Groupon, Lifebooker, and Yipit feature great spa deals. Just double-check the spa’s reputation on Yelp or Citysearch before buying.
Bargain bodywork: Don’t be afraid of reflexology holes-in-the-wall in Chinatown (New York) or a scruffy midtown Tuina massage office. We’ve had some amazing bargain basement massages. We vet them on a section of our site called “Bargain Bodywork.”
Spa strength peels at home: Instead of paying for monthly facials, scale back to four times a year and ask your facialist to recommend an at-home peel and face mask you can use monthly for maintenance.
What do you think about these tips? Do you go to the spa? How do you save at the spa?

Great post, I never heard of Lifebooker or Yipit before so thanks for the resources. I recently got a massage deal at a spa for $49 from livingsocial.com so definitely excited about that. Once I make some adjustments to my budget, my goal is to have a monthly facial professionally done just for moi
