Good day, my Frugalistas. I hope that you aren’t all shopped out from Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I was a good camper, last Friday. I just hung about with my BFF. We went out for lunch at a reasonably priced Mexican restaurant and then I cracked open a bottle of Merlot at her bachelorette pad in Chicago. Fun times.
Anyway, the shopping craze is here. I found this really good article by Cameron Huddleston of Kiplinger’s on some good sites to help you shop and save. Cameron helped me with a Twitter #dealchat on paying for college, so she’s a good one!
Let me know how your shopping is going! I did some retail therapy before Thanksgiving. Gilt City had some nice stuff!
Quite honestly, I think there was a pre-Black Friday shopping movement. Ifound some nice sales before Thanksgiving. Any time is a good time for a great deal, right?

Hi! Just found your fabulous blog! Lots of good reading, so just wanted to say hi. I’ll be back again.
Walmart had some fabulous pre black Friday deals the first weekend of November on electronics – ones that would rival black Friday deals, but not as many people to compete with. I’ve picked up a laptop 2 years in a row (1 for me, 1 for hubby) for $298, and they’ve been great.
Have a good one!
That is a good article featuring many money saving tips for this holiday season. Another way to kill two birds with one coupon is KindCoupons.org. They offer great coupons codes for thousands of websites and donate 50% of all profits to charity.
