So last night, Kanye West did an 86-tweet speech about starting a design company and needing talent. Mr. West wants to start a movement that will help creative types as well as kids.
“DONDA is a design company which will galvanize amazing thinkers and put them in a creative space to bounce [their] dreams and ideas,” he wrote on Twitter.
But the part of his Twitter flow that I loved the most (and I love most anything about him) were the two tweets below:
I’m telling you all! I think Kanye is a Frugalisto. He’s spending his money on things that matter to him now. He’s using his extra cash from not buying Bentleys and bling, to help fund this new company. Yay!! I love it.
Now, I know Kanye can have an
eccentric passionate personality. He showed up to an Occupy Wall Street gathering in a Maybach. He wears animal print. Roar!
Despite his quirks, I’m excited for Kanye to do his thing. He has always inspired me and I am so glad that the man once known as the “Louis Vuitton Don” is really living his own good life through purposeful spending!
So, are you trying to work for DONDA? I think he may get an application from me. I wouldn’t have to pay anymore to see him in concert if I did!
